Well a late breakfast today! Don't know what it is, but when OH is working away from home I just can't sleep properly and when he does come home I sleep like a log.

Hope you had a beautiful day in Nagasaki. It's nice to see you guys in your cold weather clothes instead of shirt sleeves!

I really like the last picture of Arcadia, in front of a lovely green area. It does look spotless.

After seeing the you tube footage of the MSC Fantasia in Palma breaking away from it's moorings, I can understand why P & O do not berth sometimes if the sea is too rough or the winds too strong!

Anyway I look forward to your next instalment. Maybe you'll be back to shirt sleeves in the next one :-)

Have just seen on the news that MSC Fantasia was hit by 113kmh winds and came away from her berth in Palma luckily no one was badly hurt, the gangway just dropped into the harbour, and she is 138,000 tonnes just shows you what mother nature can do doesn't it.
Anyway looking forward to more pictures from Japan, i thought you were in Japan on the 6th not the
5th?

Good morning James,

I was thinking....in just two days time, tomorrow will be yesterday!
This is never so obvious than when reading your blog and I really cannot believe that you have reached Japan already and it is so long since we left the ship in Singapore! Where does the time go?

I see from the photographs so far that you are experiencing cooler temperatures and I can report that snow is forcast (again) over the weekend for the UK!
The way I look at it is that these flakes are just snowmen falling from the sky - they just need assembling!!

Enjoy Japan and let us see those pictuures soon.

Have received your "standard issue" gift from "Q" & am looking forward to getting it to you....watch out for anyone who looks as if they are carrying Milk Tray!

Hi to you all from sunny Perth, did you rug up for your run ashore in chilly Japan.Beautiful photo's you sure dont waste time in posting them. It makes great reading after work if i have had a bad day at work there is one website that cheers up the worst of anyones day. Thank you for the great effort you put into this blog.

Happy cruising, we hope to cruise again next year with P&O depending on the almighty dollar and how many we have saved.

Arcadia looks enormous in the first photograph. What a lovely ship she is.

Having read Donald and Barry's report on the P&O Cruise Community site, it sounds a great port and one I'd very much like to visit one day.

I hope you get to spend some time ashore today. It must be hard to visit these wonderful places and not get to see as much of them as you'd like.

We have a large Honda plant here in our town and so a lot of Japanese executives get sent over from Japan. They are the nicest, most polite people, so I can identify with what you say about them as a people.

Is it China next?
