Dear James,
Congratulations on an interesting blog.
I am a journalist, based in Kerala, in the south of India. I do a newsletter for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry here, which completed its 150 anniversary last year. It is a one-woman operation.
In the new issue, I am talking about the old ship journeys from Mumbai and Colombo to Tilbury. I was wondering if you might have any photos to go with such an article. I usually struggle for photos and none of my contacts for the story had any pics. Any scanned photos of old ships that might have made the journey, or parties, etc might be helpful.

Hi again !
The passengers' stories and pictures were a treat; 'specially as I recognised some of the faces from my time with you in Feb and March.
I think we have cruised a lot with P& O but some of the stories made me feel like a novice.

Lovely to see familiar crew faces too makes me feel as if I have only just left Arcadia but it is the best part of a month since I walked down the gangway for the last time. (Well the last time on Arcadia's Grand Voyage of course)

It was so lovely to hear everyones stories, all special in their own little way.

Getting more and more desperate to see the new P&O main catelogue when it comes out!!

How interesting to read of the stories these passengers have to tell and the reasons for their respective voyages. I imagine you really get to know the passengers when they're on for so long.

We're off tomorrow, James, at least we're off to the Sheraton Skyline at Heathrow, ready for our flight to Miami on Friday. In case you don't write again before we go, I hope you have calm seas for the remainder of your journey and thank you so much for keeping me going through a difficult winter.

I hope we meet again on next year's big one!

Dear James,

Wonderful stories from true "Grand Voyagers" - travel certaily does broaden the mind & these stories are fantastic so thank you everyone for sharing them.

The weather here in Italy is lovely at the moment so hopefully the trip to Rome will be bathed in beautiful spring sunshine.

Very interesting reading and great pictures of your journey thru the Suez, it was also good to see more of the hard working crew, and interesting to read some of the passengers stories, Merle's story was very interesting reading.
