I had the privelege of doing the same day trip from Auckland - same farm, same sheepshearer, same dog! - last month when on the Queen Victoria SF to Sydney segment. I bet the day at a sheep farm was very interesting. <br /><br />Our &quot;best&quot; friends went to Tauranga on a 4 month sabbatical 5 years or so ago. They said NZ was a wonderful country - much better than Oz in their view - and I&#39;m only sorry we didn&#39;t have the time to visit with them then. Definitely soon though - we haven&#39;t decided on what we&#39;re doing next year yet!! I grew up on a farm with sheep! That shearer is going to have a bad back one of these days.
