Hi James and all on board arcadia,

The new year passed without a hitch here in sunny but cold Italy - too much food of course and bed at 0530 but hey, it's only once a year but from what I remember about being on board it happened most nights too!!

We really miss being on board and have been discussing setting sail once more - lets se what missions James is sent on at the start of 2010 and then perhaps we can plan an excursion!

Happy new year. Lovely to see the photos of St. Kitts as we will be there in October on Ventura. First though it is Hong Kong on Arcadia, can't wait.

hi james,happy new year to you and everyone on arcadia,nice photos of st kitts on our last cruise with artemis we had to miss out that island due to bad weather onthe start of the cruise march 2008 s/america 6weeks,it was that bad all ships had to stay in port s/hampton,We thoughly enjoyed our cruise,anyway see you in 9 days for the world cruise.regards robert&joy

I'm feeling very envious of your lovely Caribbean sunshine as we are gripped by freezing weather here in the Derbyshire Peak District. You and I sailed together in the 80's on various Princess ships and I have enjoyed your blog since finding it only recently. Hope NYE was the usual fun on board and make the most of the warm weather!
