There is no holiday better than a cruise for a lady, all that lazing and having everything done for you. No bed making, no meals to prepare, no dishes! heaven. And all the lovely scenery at your destinations.
Its also lovely sailing out of Auckland in the evening on a lovely sunset night.

Please give dominique the photographer a huge hug from me on friday as its her first birthday away from home she will be 22 and i miss her like crazy. but what an amazing time she must be having. Thank the captain for getting you away from that cyclone i did a lot of mum worrying when i saw that.
the photos are amazing i liked the one 0f the motorway (the working route below decks )i remember seeing that and being amazed when we visited domzie. Look forward to the next lot

Wow - there is such an air of excitement in today's blog. I'm guessing being down under "proper" instills that excitement in people. Oh how I wish I was there with you!

I hope all the swapping of passengers went smoothly - though I'm sure it did - and I guess you have even more changing in Sydney in a few days.

Wonderful blog,the flower photo's in Honolula were fantasic, have printed them and hope to paint in my art lessons, my interest in art started on the Grand Voyage. Love the pictures of the wine stewards, if you get the chance please remember us to Donna and Swamy (they are in the photo, Swamy front row and Donna behind him, we met them both on the GV and again on the Christmas Cruise. Would you know if Barry and Donald (From Spain) I think they maybe still on Arcadia, please give them our regards if you have the time you being such a busy 'bee'

Lovely to see all the yachts, this may be of interest,USA has won back the Americas Cup in yacht racing it looked like it was pure tecnology that won it, what a shame. No more lovely shaped hulls! A fellow Clydesiter has joined you in Auckland Alasdair MacKenzie he is going to HK with you all, lucky thing. Look forward to more from OZ.

Off to Bristol later today for a couple of days, but am taking my laptop.

Wonderful photos again today James. I know I keep saying it, but I wish I was there with you guys. One day I will be ;-0) It is my ambition to do a world cruise and go down under to see Oz and NZ.

The Queen st Mall is a great place to visit while in Auckland, also the Auckland Zoo is another great place with great views to be had from there.
