Just seen the weather forecast for today in Nagasaki, top of 13c, certainly a change from the weather you have been having. Have you got the cold weather uniforms on for the next couple of days? Or are you still in whites.

Enjoy Japan from a sunny Perth expecting a top of 33c.

Anonymous, I hope Oriana has the same naval assistance that Arcadia got! I'm sure the likes of Arcadia and Oriana are too big for the pirates to successfully board, but you just would like a bit of back up wouldn't you? Mind you as has been posted elsewhere, the pirates wouldn't be able to stand all the moaning P & O passengers, they'd be begging to get back off anyway ;-)

I should think Esther's talks were very interesting. I really took to her in the jungle!

DD sent me a couple of pictures of their stop in Vietnam. She was an escort on a tour. Next stop for them is Bangkok! I assume they don't go into Bangkok direct? They must dock outside and get coaches in. Bit like Port Said for Cairo!!!!!??

To everyone on Arcadia,

I was wondering James....How much deeper would the oceans be without sponges....???

Great to hear about all of the celebs' on board. It must be strange for them though with everyone saying "no, it can't be, oh yes it is" & having to smile every day for their public - just like you do James!
Better to be able to blend into the background. I like being a "nobody" - remember "nobody is perfect" - therefore I am perfect (well nearly)!!

Have heard from some friends on board who are busy sorting out their woolies ready for the next few days. The sights to be seen will more than make up for the cooler temperaturs and one week from today you will all be back into that lovely warm sunshine. The same cannot be said for the UK or the rest of Europe. It is snowing & dropping to below freezing point tonight!

The interest rates are falling (& so will we be if the Bank of England looses its nerve any more!

On that depressing note, I will go and get on with getting in those logs for the fire and other supplies ready for the big freeze! Oh how I wish I was on Arcadia...

I bet being on Arcadia is very different from being in the Australian jungle on I'm a Celebrity!

I see Princess are arranging Ultimate Tours now that involve visiting the Engine Room, Bridge, Backstage, Funnel, Printshop, Laundry etc 3 hours for $150. I wonder will P&O follow suit? I'd love to do something like that - the Engine Room fascinates me.

I hope Japan goes well.
