As for Gerald Dickens.....do you know if he is the son of Cedric dickens who every December held the Dickens Club dinner in london and was the writer of many books....he himself being the great/grandson of Charles
Interesting to know if Gerald is continuing with the 'Club'
I'm still in Sunny HOT Perth W. Australia enjoying every minute of it until my son's wedding in May
Drove to Albany last week and
I'm off to Melbourne on Wednesday for 10 days then back to Perth and off to Adelaide end of April

Dear James, Many thanks for all your information and wonderful photographs. My parents are currently on ship, sailing with you and my Mum (the lady with the sextant!) cannot take a photo to save her life (although she has probably still taken loads anyway) but at least I have been able to view lots via your Blog! Hi James! Well here we are back home after leaving wonderful Arcadia (reluctantly) in Singapore. We just had the best of times on our Singapore to Singapore section (where did those six weeks go!). As I told you personally while still on board we found Arcadia to be just superb, such a happy, relaxed atmosphere. Missing you all already. We'll just have to keep reading your blog and wishing we were still on board. Regards to you and all your great staff and to Gary and the entertainment staff too. Missing my quoits!

I've missed the last couple of entries having been in South Wales visiting with my daughter who is in hospital.

Lovely to catch up with your travels - I trust Raffles was up to standard? Can't wait to try it for myself.

By the way, Monte Video is one of my very favourite places on earth and Buenos Aires is certainly an amazing city - I can't comment on the steaks as i'm veggie!

You've had some rather good entertainment on this grand voyage. I'd love to hear more about Charles Dickens. Let's hope Gerald is on one of my cruises one day. I'll make the time to go to his talks.

Hi James,

Thank you so much for sharing all of your wonderful pictures with us -we are particularly pleased to see Mr Fleckney!! We were quite worried about him!!
We are back in the UK but of course we will be keeping up with the blog as regularly as we can. Cambodia, Vietnam & Barnaby all look wonderful & we still miss our time on Arcadia which seems so long ago now although we have only been back just under 6 weeks!
The ships photographers are fantastic and we have some great memories recorded for us.
You guys take care until your next update.
once again - such a relief to see Brian...send our love to them in The Portofino Suite!

Thank you so much James for posting the photos of Marti Webb. I had been wondering if she was still with you. I think I must be her greatest fan although I know there are many. I am so envious that you have met her, obviously a few times. I keep hoping one day! Don't suppose you know what she might be doing in the near future?
I do enjoy reading your blogs and feel I have been to the places myself after reading them. I am learning so much geography following Arcadia! Hope to travel with you sometime soon.
