As promised I’d like to answer the final few questions that were outstanding...

There was an anonymous post regarding the mattresses on Arcadia. The mattresses are a little firmer on Arcadia and we’re planning a replacement in a couple of years’ time. In the meantime, if you would like a softer mattress then we do have some mattress toppers, which are subject to availability, and these can requested once you are on board.

Gill, I’m sorry to hear you have experienced problems with your mailings. If you’re happy to provide me with your surname and the last cruise you took I will look into this matter for you.

Victoria, the single supplements are calculated based on the revenue we would receive if we were to sell the cabin for double occupancy, so will vary by ship, time of year and destination.

Abi, I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your Atlantic cruise. Please address your letter to me at Carnival House, 100 Harbour Parade, Southampton, SO15 1ST, United Kingdom. Would you be able to let me know your surname?

Anne, because we haven’t taken any final decisions on The Portunus Club, I’m unable to answer questions relating to the possible changes at this time. I realise that all our members are keen to hear news on this sooner rather than later and I can assure you that we will share this news as soon as we can. I’m unsure if the letters you have sent related to The Portunus Club, but please do write to me at the address given above.

To Maureen, Amanda, Janet Higgins and Janet Holgate, I’m so sorry that I haven’t come back to you yet on the spa pricing. Your comments have raised an interesting question, which we are currently discussing. I’ll come back to you next week via James. Maureen and Janet (Holgate), our Concierge Service will be getting in touch with you next week to confirm the information specifically relating to your cruises. Amanda, we would also love to come back to you directly with the answer to your query regarding Azura, but I’m afraid your surname isn’t on your blog and without it we’re unable to locate your booking details.
