Good Day All,
I have been busy last evening and today trying to upload pictures of Whitsunday Island and the Great Barrier Reef with no success as where we are at the moment does not allow me to do this. It is something to do with the Satellite range!
Today we are sailing in the Ceram Seas and later this evening we enter the Molucca Sea. It is a perfect day here, very calm sea with no swell and the sun is shining. The open decks of Arcadia are being enjoyed to their full potential and all is well. We are now on our fourth sea day on the way to Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia. I have been working on arrangements for our call at Hong Kong and meeting with various people - you would not believe how much goes on when we are at sea! My team are all doing a great job and this is what makes my job worthwhile.
So when I can I will post photographs of Whitsunday and Yorkie's Knob for you. They are quite good if I say so myself!
Hope all is well wherever you are and that the weather in the UK is improving.
Best wishes,
James

It's been glorious here for several days now, with clear sunny skies, but extremely cold. This morning it's about 0 degrees! How I long for some warmth!
I am delighted to hear you are making plans for Hong Kong, as will Sharon be! We want everything ship-shape (pardon the pun) when we board.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the photos of the Whitsundays when you are able to upload them. Both Tony and I love snorkelling and have spent many hours looking under the sea in the Maldives, but the Barrier Reef has long been a dream of ours - next year hopefully. It always amazes me that I can snorkel when I can't swim, but the mask and snorkel instill confidence.
We have the family coming for a meal this evening as we're off on Sunday and shan't see them for six weeks.
Have fun.
Gill
Hi Gill,
Have a great dinner party - and just think soon we will be doing all the meals for you!
See you in Hong Kong - have a good trip out.
Best wishes,
James.
Hi James,
Looking forward to the updates to come when you are able to post them, glad you are having good weather.
Big night for me tomorrow then again on Monday night i am off to see AC/DC down at Subiaco oval along with 50000 other people, should be a great night of Rock. I have been waiting since January 2001 for them to return to Perth, so finally the wait is nearly over.
Just me and the middle boy tomorrow, then me and the three boys Monday. One of whom flew in from Broome today for the concert.Broome being 2200km north of Perth.
Regards to all on Arcadia.

Morning James
Just had my breakfast ;-0)
Well I'm home alone and trust me it's soooooooo lonely!
This house is either one thing or the other! Tom has been working in London for the past 12 months so was home near enough every night - before that he was working away from home in the week and of course with me being a home person, I was able to sometimes go away with him, which was nice for a little break! Even if it was only Swindon ;-0) Mind you had some lovely get togethers at the time with Gill D who will be onboard with you soon. Well now it looks like Tom will be working up in Edinburgh ;-( Not quite so easy to get to and besides Natalie is now home so would probably not go and stay with him, because being here alone, I now know how awful it actually is!
Pleased to hear the weather is being kind to you guys. Everytime I get to look at the webcam it's all darkness. Looking forward to you getting back around to a few hours different to us so I can keep track of you via the webcam.
As for the weather back here at home. Well it was glorious yesterday, but bitterly cold if you were not protected from the wind. The sort of cold that goes right through you. it's bright this morning, but I can't see any blue sky yet. In fact yesterdays weather got me thinking about grass cutting and I am out looking for a new lawnmower. I have a sit on mower to do the garden, but a) it doesn't seem to cut the grass to just the right length for my liking and b) I don't feel like I'm getting much of a workout doing the garden on a sit on mower! At least if I walk up and down behind a petrol powered push mower I feel like I am actually get some excercise :-0) It will probably take me a bit longer to do the garden - Doing it on the sit on takes me a good 1/2 day. But it looks wonderful when it's done!
Well better get on - tallking of exercise. I'm off to the gym in a bit - trying to get rid of some of the weight I've put on since getting back from my holiday ;-)
Bye for now
