All aboard, with three blast of the horn Arcadia is on her way! The city sirens sounds remain silent as if they courtesy to the deep sound coming from Arcadia's Funnel.
Never mind - there is lots more to come on this Round World Cruise.
Ships that pass in the night are soon forgotten - Nights that pass on the ship NEVER.Looking at the reflection in the water, above, the sea will always remember our ship passing in the night.........
Wishing you calm sea and smooth sailing from the South Pacific..........and may all your dreams come true.
Good night wherever you are,
James

Very atmospheric, James.
Have you managed to escape the bad weather I hear you were trying to avoid?

Thanks for you wonderful blog and photos from Hawaii. This is somewhere I would love to visit and hopefully one day on a P&O ship .... sadly the euromillions lottery didn't pay last night, but maybe one day!

Well scripted James, nice to see that you were in Honululu until late at night, we left at 6 pm which we thought was a bit too early, but did make for a fantastic deck party that night.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers

Hi James,
Happy Valentines Day to all the ladies on Arcadia, and out there in Blog Land.
Yet again another set of superb photo's, i remember being on both Oriana and Canberra when we have passed in the night and the ships are lit up like diamonds it is a beautiful sight to behold. As we passed by both ships sound the ships horns it is a tremendous atmosphere to experience.
Looking forward to being able to view the webcam now during our waking hours, and not late night or very early morning.
Regards to all on Arcadia.

Glad to hear the captain is blasting his horn. When we were on Artemis the captain never sounded the horn and it just wasn't the same., I love the sound. Please ask the captain to blast away when we join in Hong Kong.

Happy Valentines to all looking at this blog - Something OH doesn't believe in, but our wedding anniversary was only the other day, so I never expect/want flowers today anyway!
Look at Arcadia there all lit up! Spectacular!
Keep the photo's coming James. I love seeing where you guys are and what your up to.
I believe you are now 12 hours ahead of us, going from being 12 hours behind. That must feel really strange, losing a day??
Well happy sailing James and I look forward to the next instalment.

Hi James,
Just a bit of trivia that was in our Sunday paper today, there was an article about Captain James Cook. The article was saying that it was in 1779 on February the 14th that he was killed in Hawaii. Look at the date today.
