Lots of Colour in Antigua at this time of year.

The town is called St Johns.

Fancy a dip..........? Dickinson Bay - very popular with passengers and crew.

A general view across the bay.

Dickinson Bay...............

One of the many pleasure crafts to view from Deck 10!

The Seabourn Spirit - a sister company.

Arcadia berthed close to a suburb of St Johns.

Looking aft from Deck 10 - the Aquarius Pool looks very welcoming - look at how much deck space we have on board Arcadia...................

Arcadia is in town!

It is always interesting to view other ship's in port and we can have a chat with our colleagues on the quayside.

Side by Side.........................passengers boarding just prior to sailing. Grace and power together..........
Hello again!
I just can't tell you how much everyone is enjoying the sun, sea and sand in the Caribbean - it is what they came for. Antigua is always a firm favourite!
Best wishes from the Arcadians,
James.

Oh I am so envious of you in the warmth and sunshine of the Caribbean. Dickinson Bay is one of our favourites too and I would LOVE to be there RIGHT NOW!
Arcadia looks colossal beside the Seabourne ship - I remember being able to look around one of the Princess ships berthed along side us, when we were on the old Arcadia in St Lucia years ago. Is that permitted these days with heightened security?

I am so jealous - as I write I am watching the snow fall here!! Well, at least I may ski later on today!! Thank you so much for returning to the blog James - always a pleasure to read..
Wonderful to see these pictures as my parents (Norma & Peris) are currently on board so I can see what they're seeing!!
I'm heading to the snow of Switzerland so Happy New Year to all when it arrives.
James, How lovely is that. It is more horrible than ever here in Gloucestershire. Sleet, very cold standing water on the roads. Probably turn to ice over night. Snow expected. Hope everyone is having a spendid time in Antigua,--- can you see my gritted teeth!!
Regards to all
Looks amazing - what a fabulous cruise this is - Christmas and the Caribbean!
Looks too good!
Have a great New Year!
Abi.
Looks like we were on the same beach James. We had a lovely day too at Dickinson bay and had a lovely lunch before our taxi pick up. Antigua is one of my favourite islands.
Elaine (aurorabore) posting as anon as she can't remember her googlemail login! ;-0)
Hi, Your post is very nice. All information is good. Pics are also excellent. Dickenson Bay Beach is my on of the favorite place. Its such a amazing and beautiful place for vacation. Dickenson Bay beach is idyllic for sunbathing, swimming even for kids as the water is calm and as you lay on the powdery soft sand you can really feel your nerves relaxing and calming like the water.
