As I mentioned in my blog yesterday there is a lot of fine architecture to see in Dublin.
No introduction required here!
Everywhere you go the people are very friendly and welcoming.
There are many sculptures to been seen around the city centre. My thanks to Katrina for these shots of the City of Dublin.
We sailed at midnight from Cobh, with perfect weather conditions and a clear night sky with stars shining bright over the shimmering waters of Cobh Harbour. The rows of terraced houses were faintly lit by street lamps and resembled a paint shade card. Most people must have been in their beds, it was a Wednesday night after all..... as most of the houses were in darkness. We woke up to a bright sunny morning with calm seas and bright sunshine so this has set the perfect mood for the last day of this wonderful cruise.
I have some paper work to catch up on today and prepare my desk for Southampton, with a one week cruise to Norway to look forward to. Gemma and Helen were queued out this morning with people rushing to book more cruises before disembarking tomorrow so this is always a delight to see. One couple clinched their booking for a full world cruise - how exciting is that for them to look forward to.
Best wishes from the Arcadians.
Bye for now,
James.

Hi James, this is a bit of a 'blast from the past', I used to work with you on the older Princess ships - IP/PP/SunP when I was Night Manager going on to SAP and you were??? I remember going around the ship with you in the early hours inspecting the night cleaners work and every public room we came to that had an instrument(??), you were on it - such talent. I also remember you in Pub Night - If I Were Not Upon This Ship etc etc, and many more funny, happy memories. Will write again when I can recall other specific moments that might jog your memory! Have enjoyed your blogs immensely, hope you're well and happy. xx

Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise to Iceland, nice to bump into you around the deck in Cobh and delighted that Gregory won the award, well deserved, a very pleasant young man.
Lizzie, Bizzie or Batwoman depending where I am!
