Fun Times & Happy Memories

Hello Everyone,

Here are some photographs which I promised to different people that I would put on my blog so I hope you enjoy them and that for some people at home they will be very special indeed! This had been another beautiful day on board Arcadia. We had the Portunus Club parties this evening in the dome by Neptune's and it was the most balmy evening - perfect for a party. It is dark early now which is much better for the parties. There was a lot of style around and everyone was in fine form - very relaxed now that we have enjoyed four days at sea and yet another one to go before reaching Safaga.

It's serious work playing the Grand Piano at Raffles Hotel Singapore.

Meet Jimmy the resident Pianist at Raffles in the yellow suit. He always wore two different coloured shoes! He is brilliant on the ivories and such a Character. A joy to be in his presence.

Jenny our Sales and Loyalty Manager in the mall at Dubai.

James with the well connected!

Sometimes it is all too exhausting and you need a lie down. Could just do with a nice cup of tea!

The Official gathering for a Plaque Exchange in Dubai.

Commodore Steve Burgoine exchanging a ship's plaque with the Deputy Director of the Dubai Cruise Terminal.

Helen and Harry on the Promenade Deck early morning wish to send their love to their daughter Lynne back home! Hi Lynne - wish you were here?

I love the promenade deck in the morning before the day gets really going and you can look out and admire the ocean and set your mind for the day.

Langkawi sail away I met Helen Brenner who wishes to say Hello to all in Scotland. Helen is a blog reader and just joined us recently!

Mr and Mrs Chris Banford who wish to send best wishes to all those serving at home and overseas in the HM Armed forces. Best wishes to you all.
Someone always ends up in the pool at a party - Mark Entertainment Officer give a helping hand!

A couple from Enniskillen who say hi to all at home. Again this was Langkawi sail away.

One of the many side staircases at Raffles Hotel in Singapore. It is beautifully cared for.

James and Marian Entertain!

Chris and Marian at Raffles Hotel. It was Chris who arranged for me to play as Paul and Chris had stayed there recently. My grateful thanks to Chris for this as we had such fun. Jimmy said that Chris was the Angel that brought me to Raffles!!

Now Jimmy how about I get a summer job here when you are on leave???

That's all for now - have a great weekend.
Best wishes,
James

HI James,
Lovely pictures you could get a job anywhere with your talents, enjoy Safaga, not long now and you will be welcoming new faces on Arcadia after the Grand Voyage,it is sad to say farewell but it is good to know that one day you will be re-united again on the Arcadia. There are plenty on repeat passengers.

Lovely to see some more photographs - thank you. It's especially nice seeing the sunshine, though things are improving here.

Keep having fun.

Hello James,

Lovely photographs - what will happen to the blog when you go on leave? I am nearly all "blogged" out myself but your life is so interesting than mine so I will have a nice little rest and then catch up when you are back on board...unless you are going to "blog" about your annual leave and those trips to expensive hotels...

It is a beautiful day here in the UK and I am told quite warm in Italy where you will be next Friday I think although I am a little confused as some literature says you will be in Tripoli!!

On that note I will leave you...

With love from "Confused of Camporgiano"
