Arcadia at Shanghai

Coaches in position and all ready to go! This photograph taken from Arcadia's Bridge.

A viewing point on The Bund.

Good Day Everyone,

We arrived alongside our berth this morning at 0700 hours. I will get another blog published in due course, and lots more photographs to come. Just for now we need to get all the crew landing cards in and cross checked to get Immigration Clearance and we will be sailing at 2000 hours. Passengers and crew returning on board have enjoyed an exciting day - I certainly did and can't wait to tell you all about it. Next stop Hong Kong! This Grand Cruise is just flying past!!

Best wishes meantime and more news from Shanghai soon.

Yours,
James.

Hi James,

I hope you got my message about the "Barbie" shop in Shanghai - she was 50 years old yesterday and the Chinese are slightly obsessed with her with a special shop dedicated to her lifestyle - I bet one or two passengers saw it! Barbie, on skates, Barbie in formal wear, Barbie, at The Great Wall - etc etc!!!

Don't worry - I live in my own little world - but it's OK .....they know me here!

James, I am looking forward to seeing those pictures and wish you a great stop in Hong Kong.

I see one of the other "bloggers" mentioned that they wondered when you sleep. I am wondering now as your days seem jam packed and I know how you like to party!!

With love from Louise & Tony. xx
