HMS Portland.Good Day Everyone,
What an exciting day! Another Inaugural Grand Voyage Luncheon, the Inauguration of President Barack Obama, and Mr and Mrs George Bush leaving the White House.
Our thanks to the Captain, Officers and Crew of HMS Portland for their flyby today in the Gulf of Aden.

HMS Portland by our side.
HMS Portland sent off a helicopter to Salute Commodore Steve Burgoine - the Master of Arcadia and the Commodore of the
P&O Cruises Fleet, Passengers and Ship's Company.

Thank you all for the many messages of good wishes I have received for our passage to India. Many of you are all to aware of the recent news regarding Pirates - and not the Pirates of the Caribbean!! I am pleased to report that all is well with Arcadia and we have now passed through the most potentially hazardous area and just look at the company we kept!
Thank you to the Royal Navy and all the good work that they do around the world, keeping our seas safe.
To Calm waters and safe seas,
James.

Wow, thanks for answering my question. We will stop worrying as we now know you are in safe hands. What an exciting day.
Husband Alec would have loved to see HMS Portland. How exciting. Wished we been on board. Not long to wait now.
I didn't realise you were sailing through such hazardous waters. God speed and keep you safe.

Judith
